Our campaign for Surface helps lighten the load for overworked teachers

To position Microsoft Surface as the essential tool for modern educators, we highlighted the power of Copilot and Surface’s innovative features to help them streamline workflows and inspire students. That is – help them do more of what they actually want to do. We employed a highly targeted strategy to reach key IT decision-makers in schools along with the teachers who influence purchasing decisions.

Have you ever spent time on Yindjibarndi Country?

Now you can – virtually. Created for Juluwarlu Group Aboriginal Corporation in the Pilbara, the app features a beautiful interactive animated version of the Yindjibarndi Creation Story with voiceover by Wimiya Woodley and Iya Ware. It provides a rich insight into Yindjibarndi song lines going back hundreds of thousands of years, bringing to life their cultural heritage in a highly compelling experience.

Once we had refreshed the global value proposition and messaging for the International Baccalaureate, we created a global campaign that used video ‘story’ ads to target students, parents, teachers and schools. Our headlines and photography delivered strong clickthrough rates and made this campaign easy to roll out across different markets and languages with outstanding results.

Winning political campaigns for independent candidates

We loved working with Zali Steggall and Allegra Spender to design, message and promote their independent bids for the 2022 federal election — and win! These were comprehensive campaigns, using a small but smartly-targeted budget to develop everything from overarching messaging and visuals to new websites, policy PDFs, TVCs, social videos, direct mail, print, digital signage and awareness events.

Grow it with a manifesto

How do you inspire a company? We created this atmospheric manifesto video for Telstra Enterprise as an internal communication tool. Using cinematic visuals – a mix of stock and Telstra’s own projects – we fired up all hands for the launch of their new messaging. The team loved the video so much, they asked us to rework it for an external audience.

The video conveys Telstra Enterprise’s key value proposition in an emotive and dynamic way – in only 60 seconds. The video has now been used on social channels and at numerous events and venues.

NAIDOC Week

We shot and edited a video with Greening Australia, showcasing their work and the urgent need to heal the land. We also created a beautiful video for the City of Karratha to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pilbara Indigenous farm labourers strike for equal pay.

Talkin’ ‘bout an evolution

Thanks to two strategic acquisitions and a new AI joint venture, Telstra had everything they needed to deliver industrial automation – except the messaging and ad campaign. So Brains developed “smart industry made simple” ads, eDMs, hero videos, OOH, campaign landing page and thought leadership for a national campaign and roadshow targeting mining, supply chain, energy and construction.
The impact? Unprecedented media interest and customer leads.

Dramatising the power of colour

Colourful acoustic ceilings can change our mood. Tapping into the wellness trend, we named Rockfon’s colourful new range ‘The Colours of Wellbeing’ and elevated the pitch from installers to architects, making acoustics top of mind – not an afterthought. Our inspiring social campaign, beautiful web site, look book and ceiling colour visualisation tool smashed all campaign targets.
