With the severe tech skills shortage here and around the world, Microsoft Australia led a global program to outsmart traditional methods of recruitment and tap into hidden potential in existing workforces and empower candidates to access supported and fast-tracked study then connect with employers.

We love tech and education, so helping Microsoft launch Tech Talent Generator was a sweet Venn of our passions. We made intro and explainer vids, plus wrote and designed the website.

Talkin’ ‘bout an evolution

Thanks to two strategic acquisitions and a new AI joint venture, Telstra had everything they needed to deliver industrial automation – except the messaging and ad campaign. So Brains developed “smart industry made simple” ads, eDMs, hero videos, OOH, campaign landing page and thought leadership for a national campaign and roadshow targeting mining, supply chain, energy and construction.
The impact? Unprecedented media interest and customer leads.

Building on the new messaging we created, we helped Rockfon launch a new range of completely market-changing acoustic products across the world. This campaign included a successful event launch in Europe and several high-end branding videos, all written, shot, directed and edited by us.

Dramatising the power of colour

Colourful acoustic ceilings can change our mood. Tapping into the wellness trend, we named Rockfon’s colourful new range ‘The Colours of Wellbeing’ and elevated the pitch from installers to architects, making acoustics top of mind – not an afterthought. Our inspiring social campaign, beautiful web site, look book and ceiling colour visualisation tool smashed all campaign targets.

How to rule the pool

Pooltrackr started as an in-house idea and turned into Australia’s number one pool and spa management software. Now a fully fledged business in its own right, Pooltrackr’s end-to-end software platform is integrated with major point of sale and accounting software and supports over a million pools. Our designers, developers, coders and creatives built the success of this industry-changing brand, which is now entering US and South African markets.

When Microsoft Australia wanted to get more people into Azure AI skills training, we came up with the idea of an online summer school as a way of making good use of lockdown. We put together a cool landing page with career-enticing messaging, then targeted gamers and IT students with videos on Twitch and social. The result? Summer school was over-subscribed and the strategy and materials were picked up by Microsoft globally.

Motorola Solutions had already digitised the old paper-based system for Australia’s National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. Now they needed us to explain what a difference it made. We created a stunning video and written case study that became the core of a multinational campaign.

Once we had refreshed the global value proposition and messaging for the International Baccalaureate, we created a global campaign that used video ‘story’ ads to target students, parents, teachers and schools. Our headlines and photography delivered strong clickthrough rates and made this campaign easy to roll out across different markets and languages with outstanding results.

We launched Motorola’s APX NEXT radio – crystal clear emergency comms that can make the difference between life and death. To get it right, we shot original photography and video, which used on a successful landing page, web banners, social content, live webinars and more.

We replaced ‘what?’ with ‘why’

Most organisations are stuck explaining what SASE is. We elevated Telstra’s campaign by demonstrating what Telstra’s SASE solutions actually do to help businesses achieve their goals. We supported salespeople with enablement tools and got the message out with a targeted digital campaign. To capitalise on this message, we took customers on a journey to a free, no-commitment network consultation that helped them better understand the benefits and how to seize the opportunity.
