A campaign to save the planet

When independent MP Zali Steggall wanted to push for an emissions reduction target 2035 Brains launched the cut 75% of emissions by 2035 campaign. As well as building awareness of the need to ramp up climate action, our logo and website have been instrumental in encouraging Australians to cut their own emissions and lobby their MPs to take tougher climate action.

The app that made a splash

How to rule the pool

Pooltrackr started as an in-house idea and turned into Australia’s number one pool and spa management software. Now a fully fledged business in its own right, Pooltrackr’s end-to-end software platform is integrated with major point of sale and accounting software and supports over a million pools. Our designers, developers, coders and creatives built the success of this industry-changing brand, which is now entering US and South African markets.

Get in the game

Locked inside? Unlock your career.

When Microsoft Australia wanted to get more people into Azure AI skills training, we came up with the idea of an online summer school as a way of making good use of lockdown. We put together a cool landing page with career-enticing messaging, then targeted gamers and IT students with videos on Twitch and social. The result? Summer school was over-subscribed and the strategy and materials were picked up by Microsoft globally.

Smart tech for safe roads

Drive time

Motorola Solutions had already digitised the old paper-based system for Australia’s National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. Now they needed us to explain what a difference it made. We created a stunning video and written case study that became the core of a multinational campaign.

Calling all officers

Mission critical

We launched Motorola’s APX NEXT radio – crystal clear emergency comms that can make the difference between life and death. To get it right, we shot original photography and video, which used on a successful landing page, web banners, social content, live webinars and more.

Get SASE

We replaced ‘what?’ with ‘why’

Most organisations are stuck explaining what SASE is. We elevated Telstra’s campaign by demonstrating what Telstra’s SASE solutions actually do to help businesses achieve their goals. We supported salespeople with enablement tools and got the message out with a targeted digital campaign. To capitalise on this message, we took customers on a journey to a free, no-commitment network consultation that helped them better understand the benefits and how to seize the opportunity.

Light that feels good

How to connect feeling with lighting

It’s one thing to ‘see the light’ – quite another to understand how light makes you feel. That’s why we developed a new messaging guide for Signify, all built on the connection between lighting and wellbeing. The guide included value propositions, target audience breakdowns and copy blocks that simplified communications for Signify staff.

New world. New ways.

Finding the right Vantage point

We were brought on board to support the Telstra Vantage event, starting from brass tacks by creating the overall theme and messaging. It was fantastic seeing our ‘New world. New ways’ tag form the framework for the entire event, especially with guest speaker James Cameron. Our stand, merch designs and Network Transformation Journey tool brought our Adaptive Networks messaging to life as a centrepiece at the event.

Now that’s independent thinking

Vote independent

With the 2022 federal election looming, community crowdfunding initiative Climate 200 wanted to promote a more independent approach to environmental policy.

Brains was approached by Climate 200 to run a climate-focused advertising campaign with the goal to unseat targeted LNP politicians in the next election.

We worked with Climate 200 to refresh their brand, messaging and strategy, which we then used to deliver a hugely successful digital campaign that shone a light on the game-changing potential of independent politicians.
