Telling teachers about AI

Our campaign for Surface helps lighten the load for overworked teachers

To position Microsoft Surface as the essential tool for modern educators, we highlighted the power of Copilot and Surface’s innovative features to help them streamline workflows and inspire students. That is – help them do more of what they actually want to do. We employed a highly targeted strategy to reach key IT decision-makers in schools along with the teachers who influence purchasing decisions.

Through a thought leadership initiative, we established Microsoft as a pioneer in AI for education by showcasing Copilot’s benefits in engaging demo videos and resources. These assets simultaneously supported teachers to work faster and smarter with Copilot, as well as demonstrating Microsoft Surface’s capabilities. We also shot enticing promotional video and stills to illustrate the possibilities.

These valuable training resources included expert guidance from on Microsoft education experts to deliver an AI for education masterclass. A suite of explainer videos quickly show teachers exactly how to use Copilot to power up tasks like creating lessons plans and teaching rubrics.

Engaging social media content promoted Microsoft Surface on LinkedIn and Meta. This content was designed to reach the education audience through both paid advertising and organic amplification by the Microsoft education team. Throughout the campaign, we continuously refined our messaging to ensure it remained relevant, engaging and aligned with Microsoft’s goals.

Our compelling interactive e-catalogue brought all the information together – with useful information for educators as well as nuts-and-bolts device specs in a format that served the IT manager. The campaign generated valuable leads and decisively positioned Microsoft Surface as the preferred choice for schools who want to reap the benefits of AI.
