Brains developed the brand, messaging, website, video, advertising and brochures for Michael Regan’s independent campaign for the NSW Legislative Assembly seat of Wakehurst. This campaign saw Regan make history as the first independent to win the seat of Wakehurst.

Rather than present Regan’s policies as a ‘shopping list’ (as per our opponents), we demonstrated how his platform formed a holistic, interrelated set of policies that would work together to drive positive change in Wakehurst. We developed a map of the area showing every issue aligned to Regan’s platform so that locals could see how his policies would help them in their daily lives.

We carefully targeted local concerns with smart tactics, such as handing out brochures at bus stops when it was clear the transport crisis was hitting home as an election issues.

Michael Regan took the seat from the Liberal Party with a swing of almost 36%.
